I saw this at the Encinitas Street Fair, there were so many vendors and things to see! If I wasn't absolutely starving I would have explored the product more. Check out the website, it's so cute. I love simple creations with a creative twist.

Spring into fun community recitals

Pamper Me Fabulous was absolutely amazing. The pics are posted on our Facebook page, check them out! 

We had such a wonderful spot to recieve all our customers and supporters, and it's been our most successful event yet. Thank you to everyone who purchased a pair during spring. Your contribution is one small gift to the hard working men and women helping survivors of this year's many earthquakes.        

While many are working abroad to improve the dire traumas abroad, there are lots of students in school and preparing well for the close of a school season. It's been YEARS since my dance recital at Lana's Dance Studio in Morgan Hill. I remember all those days where you every class was focused – striving, achieving, and hoping – when your kicks and smiles pay off in a single moment on stage when all eyes are on you. Then in an instant, the motion seems to last forever in its perfection as you move through it exactly as you had imagined your body to. Remember that climactic feeling of accomplishment?

I have 2 nieces who both dance ballet. Kim (pictured previously) will be dancing soon at the OC Song and Dance Company, I can't wait to see what dress she will wear. Tiana, who's a bit older, will most likely be competing on her team in a fancy number. More details and photos on both very soon. It will be great to attend both their events in the LA/OC area. Gathering with other parents and kids really brings the sense of community into your very being....

New flowers in bloom, skies sunnier by the moment, classes in full session, and tons more happening with the team.

After coming back from Dance Retailer News Expo in Las Vegas, we all came back from a great experience meeting people in the industry. We had been so focused meeting parents and our customers that it was great to meet fellow business owners as well. Surprisingly there were lots of retailers from Canada, very cool!

Now we're busy preparing for Pamper Me Fabulous on March 28th, not to mention our wonderful giveaway for 2 free tickets (worth $100 EACH)  to the event! One step into a fantastic leap

Happy New Year's to all! Today Audrey spoke with the owner of the Dance Store in Beverly Hills, and exciting news! We now have our collection in a physical retail dancewear store, woo hoo! If you haven't seen or tried a Ballet shoe for kids or your little neice, here's your chance! We still have TONS of darling baby tees, can't wait til we see a full shirt + shoes outfit soon!

This year has been crazy action-packed. From our brainstorming meetings in August to increasing sales a month later, it feels like the days have really flashed by. That's not to say that I haven't enjoyed every moment of it. On Christmas eve I got to see my neice with her pair of ballet shoes. She had worn a special dress for the holiday occasion. Let me tell you...the shoes look great with violet purple! Both my aunt and uncle said that Kim refused to wear any of her other pairs (her 2 leather ABT and other no name brand). When the family gathered in the kitchen to ser her dance routine, she wouldn't start until the music was right and everyone was facing the right way. I can't tell if the shoes made her feel more of a Princess or if my cute lil cousin was already with high standards. Goodness, look what I've done! You can see little Kim twirl here.

All in all, the news today and everything thus far shows the promise of new connections and outlets for our amazing product. This momentum is so thrilling, to hear your best friend talking your ear off with one great piece of progress after another. These things happen when you have the right people with you going full force every second. Whenever you are unleashing your creative energy or witnessing a positive moment happening before you, appreciate the people closest to you.

In the holiday festivities we hope everyone is happily grubbing and partying the last calendar days of 2009. Everyday now and in 2010 holds more goodness and precious moments with our closest friends and family members to come.
